About
Claire Williams has been taking photos since she was given her first camera at the age of twelve. Since then she has developed a creative fascination with people and places by travelling throughout India, South East Asia and Australasia. The striking images that resulted from these expeditions fueled her desire to become a professional photographer and formed the basis of some of her early exhibitions.
In 2009 she completed the HNC photography course in Oxford and is currently studying the BA in Photography and Digital Imaging at The University of West London (formerly Thames Valley University). She has exhibited at various galleries in Oxfordshire including private viewings at Oxford University Press and in the public galleries of the Oxford Museum of Modern Art.
Claire specialises in event, portrait, fashion and family photography but can turn her keen eye to any subject. She also has a particular interest in travel photography having worked with various charitable organisations overseas. Her varied portfolio is filled with beautiful images of interesting subject matters that are rendered with clarity and rich colour.
Based in Oxford Claire Williams is available for commissions across the UK.
